Max V. Tolbert Elementary School is located in a rural area of Northwest Georgia. The school was established in 1976 and is one of six elementary schools within the Gordon County School System. Tolbert Elementary’s population is quite diverse, both economically and culturally, making it a challenge to provide programs to meet all students’ needs. Since our complete renovation in 2017, we have incorporated various Apple technologies into our classrooms. Instructional technology plays a crucial role in learning and we believe that this empowers our students and teachers to be creative and collaborative critical thinkers. Tolbert’s vision supports a technology-rich learning environment in which all students are empowered to learn.
